Located in the town centre, only minutes away from the beach, railway station and main attractions, the hotel is set within a Grade II listed historic building.
Welcoming guests all year-round, whether it's for a short break, holiday or business trip, the hotel presents itself as the ideal base for your stay in Scarborough. Within minutes walking distance are The Stephen Joseph Theatre, Spa Complex and the town centre, as well as a Shopping Centre, Cricket Ground and Bowling Centre.
Although the hotel's central location means that they are close to the main road route around Scarborough, it is fortunate to be set back from this in a small grassed square.
Given the heritage of the hotel it has narrow stairs and corridors and does not have a lift. If you require a room on the 1st floor, it is advisable to check with the hotel prior to booking.

This small hotel comprises of just 12 bedrooms, some of which offer en suite facilities. Deluxe doubles offer a bath en suite.
A smaller double room with a smaller double bed.
A twin bed room which is not en suite (there is a shared shower room on the same floor and separate toilet facilities). Comprising of 2 single beds, smoking is allowed in this room.
These rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the hotel. There is a shared bathroom available for these rooms, dependant upon room (this may not be on the same floor). Smokers can be accommodated in single rooms.
Triple rooms are not en suite but do have a shower room available just for this room. The room has a shared bathroom, on a different level - only a few steps up. The room comprises of 3 single beds. Reduced rate available during the week. Smokers can be accommodated in this room.
Family rooms are designed for 2 adults and up to 2 children. On request they can accommodate more adults, but this may mean a higher tariff; please contact the hotel prior to booking for further details. They are en suite with one double bed plus either one set of bunk-beds or one single bed plus a full-sized pull-out bed. Please contact the hotel before booking to ensure that they have a suitable family room available.
This room comprises of a double room with an adjoining single room and a shared bathroom.
At the Skikero Hotel you can enjoy a meal at a top-class Italian restaurant which is available for private parties and functions as well as being an ideal setting for anniversary or birthday celebrations. Please note the restaurant is run independently of the hotel and therefore cannot guarantee availability (booking a table is advisable).
By Car:
- Take the A1/M1.
- Join the A64.
- Continue into the town on the Seamer Road until the road ends.
- Turn right into Falsgrave Road, travelling towards the town centre and railway station.
- Turn right at the junction outside the railway station and then immediately left at the next set of traffic lights.
- Continue directly ahead through the next set of lights and a roundabout.
- The Skikero Hotel is on the left, almost immediately after the roundabout, behind a grass garden square (Falconers Square).
The hotel does not have private car park but parking permits are available for use on the on street parking close to the hotel. The permits are free to guests and allow you to park for free but do not guarantee you a space. They can not be used in the NCP immediately over the road from the hotel. The hotel will not be responsible for any parking tickets received except where the use of the ticket was not fully explained.
